Gestalt Practicum: A Six-Day Intensive in Gestalt Practice

This experience is designed for anyone wanting to explore the Gestalt Practice form in theory as well as through personal practice. Those in the helping profession who are interested in integrating this approach into their current practice may find this program especially useful. Participants will have the opportunity to experience this work in personal practice as well as through supporting others.

The format will include:
• Structured exercises that allow participants to work with one another
• Open seat sessions with the leaders
• Didactic presentation and discussion
• Additional approaches to awareness that support ongoing practice

To attend the Practicum, previous experience is required.
The Gestalt Practicum is open to participants who have fulfilled the prerequisite course work. This prerequisite course work is previous participation in either: 1) An Open Seat Intensive with Chris, or 2) Five days of workshop with Dorothy including having been in the open seat.

Those who have taken an introductory course with Dorothy or Chris can fulfill the remaining Open Seat prerequisite by attending  Chris’s Mirrors in the Dark: A Gestalt Dream Workshop, December 16-19 in Aptos, CA.

A Practicum workshop is also a prerequisite for those considering application to the 2020 Long-Term Study Program. That course of study is likely to begin either the last week of July or the first week November 2020.
