Sharon has an eclectic mix of training and experience.  She has a master’s degree in theology, was a chaplain, and has practiced “engaged Buddhism” for several decades.

After a transformational experience in a workshop led by Chris, Sharon became a student and practitioner of Gestalt Awareness Practice. She integrates awareness practices into her work in biomedical research and health, offering companies, academic groups, and nonprofits tools and practices to show up fully and trust process. Sharon co-leads workshops with Chris and Steve in various milieu. She also offers Intro to GAP and other workshops in the DC area and online. She seeks to participate in and create experiences for individuals and communities that give space and time to being. 

Sharon offers one-on-one sessions for individuals. She also is interested in offering Gestalt Awareness Practice workshops to groups interested in learning to be open to whatever arises, wherever and however. Anyone who has completed an Introduction to Gestalt Practice is welcome to a drop in essential practices on Monday’s at 6:30 PM PT.  Facilitated by Sharon Terry, people come together to do the GAP essential practices: Taking Our Seat, Basic Breath Practice, and Continuum of Awareness. Though no RSVP is necessary from week to week, if you are interested in attending, please email Sharon Terry for the Zoom meeting room link and to be placed on the reminder calendar.
